Yes end 2023. And the fact that we will end up after that with….. Leichhardt/CSS sharing again with no pathway to a genuine modern home ground is just woeful
If you have a 10 year stadium deal- it gives you 10 years to plan what to do after the deal.
We should of made a strategic plan for our home grounds at least 4 years ago for when the deal ends, and if that included advocating for a new stadium at Campbletown or Liverpool or anyway else, we should of been doing it.
Instead we still don't have a clear policy being rubber stamped by the club
Top 8 2023

Who said there is no pathway to a modern homeground?

Well the assumption is there is nothing because we are 18 months until expiry of Current deal and the last we heard they still hadn’t agreed what the plan was for 2024.

That doesn't mean there isn't a pathway, I do agree that with a bit of foresight we could have had an ideal situation. We really should have lobbied hard to have Commbank stadium built at Olympic Park. I think a 30k stadium and Stadium Australia at Olympic Park would be the ideal situation.

The Leichhardt/Campbelltown strategy (never made official) seems to have gone very quiet lately.

Is there any evidence that there is a strategy? Last I heard it Pascoe wanted CCS 8, LO 4 or something but the board wasn’t convinced. Liverpool seems to have gone dead, some noise about a little refurb (toilets, seats at LO). This doesn’t sound like a pathway. How are we credibly going to convince a government to spend hundreds of millions on a stadium at CCS, Liverpool or even to reconfigure Homebush when we can’t even articulate something as basic as “where does your sporting club want to play it’s home games”.
I pretty much have no faith that there is a plan for the club. Even the location of the COE was this a step on the agreed strategic path that consider where the club wants to be in 5/10yrs time or was it selected because that’s where we could cobble together the most government grants? If there was a clear strategic plan why not release this to the fans so that we could all get behind it. The idea that “we may play most of our games at SFS, LO, ANZ, Commbank, CCS or maybe Liverpool” is just completely bonkers. They were still surveying fans opinions only last month in the members survey. How on earth is this still up in the air? There is a massive difference to the shape of the club if you are playing out of SFS, ANZ or CCS. Is this meant to be left up to a fan poll?

If Wests Tigers were to create their own NFT (Non-fungible tokens), would you be interested in purchasing one?
Sounds like the club really see it's fan and members as mushrooms lol .....hope everyone replies that as long as we are winning games we will play and watch games at Carnac Island .....
Starting to get the feeling Commbank stadium is the fortress the club has been looking for .. the hoodoo is broken .. the players seem to like it .
At least one of the rubbish reasons for not playing there is gone !! The Tigers can win there .

It’s the right stadium, just in the wrong place.
