You guys need to get someone from the club to come on the pod to discuss. This is a huge deal for the supporters of the club, if they can leak their views to friendly journalists surely they can talk through their thinking with the hardcore fans. This a club run for the benefit of members and supporters who support the club financially. Surely the club has the obligation to shares this discussion with the fans. Would be a huge coup to get the club to talk on this issue

I have had conversations with the club around this issue in the past and I really don't think it is something they would talk about publicly in any depth as their are a lot of commercial agreements involved.
I will say this latest rumour does sound close to the money for me.

Also, if Homebush is giving us a guaranteed gate (ie pay us to play there) then surely that has to be taken into account, as opposed to breaking even or losing money at LO or CS.
Interestingly we average 22k at Homebush, which is almost double our LO and Ctown averages.
Thats over 45 regular season games so it's a big sample, with about 85 games played at LO and CT each
Top 8 2023
Our home record at Leichhardt is getting as bad as our hime record at Campbelltown
We almost beat the Storm in Gladstone 20 odd years ago in a trial game

I don't think the money is there anymore..post covid
Pascoe in a meeting last year said the Club opted out of the flat fee for a greater share of the gate..the main reason the Parra game was moved from Commbank to ANZ..

one home ground as long as it is Leichardt or one home ground as log as it is campbletown
we are two areas, if we do go traditional then it has to be 50-50 split, if all you do is throw LO a token 3 games and campbletown 9 that will leave plenty of fans annoyed.
interesting if the club publish memberships and where they are from and also membership numbers at LO and CSS
Agree Parramatta is not a home ground right next to Parramatta leagues club
And when LO is no longer suitable?
It was at the turn of the century..... It's a 20th century ground, not a 21st century ground.

The AFL would never let a team play out of a ground in the condition of LO
A professional team needs a professional stadium if it wants to be taken seriously.
When I look at the English Super League as an outsider, I think, no wonder you've got issues, look at the standard of some of the grounds you play at. Compare the grounds of Hull FC to Hull KR and its obvious who is the more stronger team.
If WT wants to be taken seriously we need a professional stadium that is considered our home. And I think it needs to be based in CTown or Liverpool

Homebush woukd make more sense if they can reconfigure some seating.
they still need a big stadium for GF and that is homebush we need to base out of there with boutique game at LO and maybe 3 at Campbletown

Its not a fair comparison because up until recent years, they have played the lowest drawing out of town teams at LO & CSS with the big drawing games at Homebush so its not like for like. Also ever year until recently they would play the Easter game at Homebush and drag a crowd of 30K out of the show next door.
If it was like for like, I think Homebush crowds would be around CSS & LO crowds to be honest.

It needs so much more than reconfig of some seating.
