Olam clearly didn’t train that day so possible he might come in for faatape. What’s wrong with Naden? Still coming back from surgery?
@garry I thought Faataape looked ok in the first trial. I would definitely have Olam there. Not convinced on Naden, it’s been a very long time since I thought he had a good game. To’a is poor. Our centres are a big big problem
I try not to overhype unknowns on one trial, if we did that people would have had Rua instantly upgraded a couple of years ago.

What happened to Rua? I thought he was going to be our Brandon Smith after that trial lol

Just overhyped from one trial and never put the work in. Galvin is being talked up a lot at the moment, by myself as well. I do see him in a different class but hope he continues to put the work in.

I’d probably have Flanagan over Sheens too just quietlyand which two hacks would you have in there Naden and olam??Orange jersey theory suggests:
1. Bula
2. staines
3. toa
4. faatape
5. tupou
6. Galvin
7. Sezer
8. ute
9. Api
10 klem
11. Bateman
12. papi
13. seyfarth
if true that is a terrible centre pairing...
After that last trial really worried about seyfarth at 13, was a fan after the Warriors trial
As for bud, would prefer L fainu as 14 Bud should not be near first grade unless we get injuries
I would 100% have Naden and Olam over Faataape and Toa.

I wouldn't have Flannagan over anyone.

@garry it is only early but he might have turned around a basketcase saints team.
1. Bula
2. Staines
3. Olam
4. Naden
5. Tupou
6. L Fainu
7. Sezer
8. Klemmer
9. Api
10 Stefano
11. Ice
12 Bateman
13 Seyfarth
14. Galvin
15. Pole
16. Samuela Fainu
17. Twal
Galvin covers most positions except hooker and prop.
If no one goes down during the game, he comes on for a short stint at 5/8 when Api goes off for his rest. When that happens we move the Tongan no. 9 to hooker.
Cheers
I don't mind all the chat on the pod with the different teams being chosen. That just means we have a bit of competition and individuals need to perform or they will be replaced. My team is based on everyone being healthy.
Lobb, Sione F, Sullivan, Solomon F, Starford, AJ all waiting for an opportunity.
Perform or you will be replaced ..this will be the making or the other with Benji . The top coaches don’t play games your either good enough or your not , this club for to long has given loyalty by coaches to players that do not deserve there position and this has lead to where the club is at at present … Over to you coach !
Less than 48 hours until teamlist is announced....

@tiger5150 You're excited and I'm terrified. Having watched most of the Round 1 games, I fear how WT forwards can compete with each of this weekend's winning teams. Without a dominant, mobile and aggressive pack of forwards, and with an untested coach up against Stuart's mob at their homeground, it worries me, to say the least.

I was drifting in and out of that Raiders/Knights game as I was doing things with the kids and from everything I saw we are going to struggle against them.
I’m hoping I’m wrong but from what I’ve seen so far we are a long way off most of the teams in the comp.
