For any old Magpie fans

Got news today Rod Smith passed away. Rod played for the Magpies back in the Noel Kelly days. He basically went from school straight into 1st grade. He was a old fashion lock and played a bit in the second row. Most of you would remember his brother Wayne who played fullback with the big side step.

Rod was only 74, we worked together and were great friends for over 30 years. Sadly he was yet another victim of alzheimers. Absolute champion guy
