Oh ok, so it's aspirational, and undeniably worthy.  But, it seems at the moment, there is no path in place, as yet, for the FRG to influence Club directions in terms of direct feedback and discussions with the Board.

Still in the process of being established, should know more during the week.

There is definitely a path in place. This path will give members and fans an opportunity to have a heard voice. The club are very passionate and determined to listen to us all. Group is in its infancy. I am very confident we are on a winner here.

I truly hope you're right. It is very much needed.

Of course, there will be a need to feedback to those who raise issues, I assume through here, so the FRG will have a big task on their hands. Will the FRG be vetting the issues that members/fans raise before discussing with the Club?

To be honest I don't know how it will work as yet though I'm not sure we'd be taking individual grievances up on peoples behalf. More along the lines of collecting thoughts and opinions on stated topics etc. But all on the table at this stage

Hmm you could run a fan survey through the WT Unite channels on all things club related and provide results to the FRG. For example on scale of 1-5 how happy are you with the membership signup experience, allow for free form text if desired. Direct democracy has worked so far. At some point you are going to have to just aggregate what you think is important.

These are definitely ideas we are looking at.

I also see it as an opportunity for the club to gather fan thoughts before something new is implemented. Try and resolve issues from the fan perspective before they occur.

thw club needs to sort out this ticketek issue for members renewing for 2025, in my case adding one person from a group of 5 from an existing LO membership to an full member

It is unprofessional to be end of January and no season ticket

This should be the type of thing the FRG should talk to the club about, the season ticketing experience, a member since club inception this is incredibly frustrating

I have an email from the club today regarding the delay, does not really say much specific or provide any reasons just thanks me for continued patronage etc

If it is a ticketek problem why are we the only club, surely if it was a big ticketek problem the media would have picked up on it.

Hey everyone

I'd love to take peoples 2025 membership renewal experiences to the Fans Representative Group and then on to the club. If you're willing, please write a few sentences stating how long you've been a member, your membership type and your experience in renewing or purchasing for 2025. Positive and negative experiences valid. I'll then collate and pass on people's comments to the FRG and then the club. I'll leave names off - just keen to relay the purchase/renewal experience

cheers!

I have only been a member (non ticketed) for the past 3 seasons even though I have been a fan (firstly of balmain) for over 60 years. I know, shame on me.

My membership is auto renewal and I had my membership pack in early December and have been wearing the new cap proudly since Jan 1 all around the Suthrland Shire.

I guess it's when the complexity of ticketing comes into it tje problems and delays occur.

My auto renewal was very slick. The members pack turned up well before Xmas.

@tigersteve this will be yr 12 (11 according to the club)

We get 4 memberships. Got the packs with no issues. Cards came with wrong names. Replacements had the wrong seats. Hopefully third time will be right.

Q when was this fan group formed and was it advertised or select few?

It was one of the recommendations from the review, at this point participation is at the invite of the club.
