Cruel hand Luke: Have the cards fallen badly for Brooks?

My argument still is that Brooks seems to ignore his strength ( his running game ) far too often and then when he does run it's rarely at full speed or with conviction

 

The blokes tries his arse off every week and has transformed himself as good defender as far as 7 's go 

 

His next big problem will depend on whether he has Madge coaching him in 2023 or another new coach ..which will mean another style change

I think his problem is his decision making, he honestly doesn't know when to run or when to pass. I think Johns could have been good for him in this regard, given him cues to look for in the defensive line to help with those decision.
