We might have just snuck in in time (for once).
The coalition can commit to Penrith Stadium but that will mean 10 years in opposition for them. Itβs complete madness in the current financial times.

I look forward to the upcoming brinkmanship between Dom and PVL. I know who I back in a game of chicken.
Dom is on a loser here.

That and the fact that Penrith don't actually need a new stadium
Great first impressions at Centre of Excellence | Wests Tigers
Β
Wests Tigers is delighted to announce that the club has begun operating out of its new Centre of Excellence as part of the new Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct.
The club this week shifted from its temporary headquarters at Cintra Park to a state-of-the-art new home, located within the new Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct.
Β
It features an indoor recreation centre, green open spaces, community rooms, and match day facilities for local sports clubs.
The Wests Tigers Centre of Excellence also includes a state-of-the-art gym, recovery pools, sauna, steam room, as well as sports science, medical, and rehabilitation facilities.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says the facility will provide the club with the best possible environment to enhance performance across all levels of the business.
We are so excited as a club to begin a new era here in this wonderful facility that has been six years in the making."
CEO, Justin Pascoe
"These projects do not become a reality without the support and hard work of many people. I would like to acknowledge and thank the Federal Government, State Government and the City of Canada Bay for their funding and support.β
This facility is all about best practice and much of what we have has been modelled on some of the best sporting organisations in the world.β
Sitting here today in the near finished product, I could not be prouder of all the people and the stakeholders who have helped make this happen.β
Justin Pascoe
Pascoe says the Centre of Excellence provides his club and the local community, some wonderful opportunities.
βWhat we have done as administrators is provide an environment where players, staff and the community can learn and thrive.β
The Wests Tigers boss is also mindful of the role the Centre of Excellence will play in attracting and retaining the gameβs best talent.
βFrom a performance perspective, it represents an elite environment and thatβs what people are attracted to, giving them the opportunity to develop, and that applies to both players and staff.β
βThere are a few finishing touches to be made before we hold our official opening, but this truly is a historic moment for the club.β
The Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with the Australian Government, the City of Canada Bay, and Wests Tigers.
