AD is a better 6 than Brooks, and Hastings is a better 7 than Brooks. Their salaries combined are about the same as Brooks. Why do you want to keep the worst player on the most money?
The only player i'd be looking to retain is AD because I think he's our best player, but if we can find someone better to replace him then by all means let him go too.

All I know is that we only look dangerous when AD has the ball. He's literally our only attacking threat.
Assuming we don't have any replacements i'd drop Brooks and keep:
Hastings - has footy smarts which we sadly lack, decent defender, decent attacker, decent goal kicker, organiser, can play multiple positions, passion
AD - our best attacking player, goal kicker, can play multiple positions, passion
Hastings, Brooks then Doueihi.
They demonstrated when the forwards were going well we could play very well with Hastings/Brooks and without AD.
Given last years results with AD at 6, I'd only keep him for 3 or 4.
I sense this is going to be the 'big 4' all over again; we let Brooks and Hastings go and keep the one we should have let go.

In our wisdom we elect to keep Douhie at 6 and say Madden at 7.
Some fans don't realise the defensive plays Brooks does, they will whe he is not there anymore.
Douhie then gets injured.

He created more in attack than anyone else, by far.
I'm really confused why you're so all in on Brooks.
