Good watch. Love these guys. They are so good for our club.

They did Royce dirty though.

Yet we all thought the same thing when that question was asked 😂

I actually think the question shouldnt have been asked, particularly if its that clear the answer will be a guy who has been dropped for 5 or 6 weeks for his fitness. Pours fuel on the rumours of cliques in the club (around the time of Galvins departure). Shows a lack of media savvy by the media team IMO.

I am a bit concerned that the comedy duo of Luai and Api with their quick responses (usually what they are really thinking rather than the smart response) could backfire on them and the team with a number of cheap shots fired. They are obviously confident about their position in the team but showed less concern for how their team mates may be feeling about their respective security. Maybe everyone is used to the way they carry on but not what I would call a quality leadership mindset. IMHO.

I agree, however I think what is said on a pod (designed seemingly for entertainment?) is (hopefully) quite different to what is said/how we act when it’s time for business.

Jokes about lack of discipline in a player might be laughed off at a club like Panthers but at a club that has been plagued by poor discipline off the field for 14 years and with a fanbase desperate for a turn around in culture, jokes about fat club and lack of personal discipline are never  going to land and only run the risk of turning a fan base off a player and creating a rift in the team, particularly in a player who is presumably trying to improve discipline and fitness to fight his way back into first grade.

I dont blame Api & Jarome, I blame the clubs media guys for writing/allowing the question.

I think everyone just needs to chill a little. This group is tight. Joking and taking the p… out of each other is all part of the camaraderie. I’ve been to several members only events this year and this group of players are there for each other. If you don’t believe me just go and watch the pre-season camp. The only odd one out was Galvin, he looked bewildered, and so I’m not surprised he is no longer at the club.
