Who else reckons this guy’s in line for a big 2022?

This will be his third year in first grade and based on some glimpses we saw in 2021 he could be ready to really step up.

Where do you see him lining up in 22, lock? Bench?

I think you'll see him off the bench. Doesn't have a big motor in my opinion for a full 80 mins game. He tends to fatigue after long stints and is less effective then.

I see him off the bench as well, I think Peachy has taken his best position.

i was completely wrong about him last year, i thought he improved out of sight as i didnt rate him at all in 2020.  He tried his guts out for us last year and showed some passion not like many of his team mates.  A big 2022 is predicted for him i hope

Yeah I see either he or Peachey wearing 13 or 14. Maybe it will depend on who and when we are playing. Both hopefully nail down this position.

Does Peachey’s utility value see him more likely to be a bench player?

Guess it depends if he can grab a position in his chosen position , from what I saw of him in 2021 he seemed to come off the bench and do well at hooker , getting his forward pack on the front foot

Sometimes however he over did it , bit like Farah did from time to time

I think the club has been looking for that more mobile lock for a couple of years now and that is why we signed Peachy. An argument can be made for starting the year with Peachy at centre though.

An argument could be made to stay away from utility players ....but that would be negative and I'm not posting negatively

I think he was bought as a lock.

think Peachey may start year at centre ? then maybe take the bench utility role shame simpkin probably misses out on a bench spot if Madge sticks with Liddle

I would love Simpkin to get a full season in reserve grade.

They just signed Reed Mahoney, Simpkin is also very aware that he has aspects of his game to work on. I don't think he would have any problem playing reserves next year as long as there is a plan laid out for him. Api complicates that a little but the club should have enough of an idea to give him some confidence.
