How good is that? Fox Sports is going to be airing all 32 NRL trial matches this year.

Bring it on!

Im surprised it took them as long as it did to start doing this. There must be a really healthy market for these games.

32 was what the Fox Sports story said, not sure about any other matches.

Whats the bet that the geniuses at Fox have said that 16 teams have two games each = 32 games

My thought too, some teams do play trials against non NRL sided but it would have to be every NRL trial to get to 32 games.

On the subject of NRL trials, just throwing it out there regarding their sum total worth.

In the case of our team this year,I think it probably not a bad thing given the genuine openness of positions up for grabs, but there is a massive downside with zero reward in the event of serious injury, and as we all know some rosters have the ability to cover their injury woes better than others.

The rate and intensity at which teams train and trial now, well was it worth it when you weren’t competing for points and a player went down in a season ender.

The fact teams play them must mean they see some value.

Necessary evil.. training as hard as they do is still no substitute for actual game time..
