Late as usual for me, I recently discovered the UK band Half Man Half Biscuit and their brilliant songs about life and people in the UK. Irreverent, sardonic, funny lyrics from a post-punk sort of rock band who've released 15 albums before I stumbled across them. e.g, their 2018 album No-One Cares About Your Creative Hub So Get Your F*ckin' Hedge Cut

I hate punk/post punk but Id be tempted to buy the vinyl for the album name.
Late as usual for me,
My story of discorvering a band "late".....
I was sitting at home listening to music late one night and discovered a band called the Aristocrats (From US/UK/Germany). Instantly hooked and loved all their tracks. I had the thought "I wonder if they have ever played live in Australia". A quick google brought up that they were playing UNSW Roundhouse that night just as I am google. They havent been back yet.
When I play an album through on my iPhone it is usually followed by some random tracks from "similar" artists. That's how I found the Weakerthans and the solo stuff of their front man John K Samson. They're on high rotation at my place ever since. They disbanded in 2016!! I found them in 2023 ... thank you random AI iPhone algorithms.
@tiger5150 Lol. I just corrected the name of the album on my post. Another one from HMHB is Urge for Offal
