Everything to lose. We have a guy who played 6 in Aus schoolboys and pushed Galvin to second row who we have signed on a long term Contract and who could be a big part of our future. That is what we have to lose.
This is Doueihi's 5th season at the Tigers. We have seen what he has to offer, the good and the bad. It is mostly bad and a long way short of good enough. Some hope at centre but IMO still unproven there and no other options.

I am generally pleased and also frustrated with the performance against Souths, pleased in that we showed some really beautiful shape in attack, we cut them up through the middle and we stripped them for numbers out wide to score some great tries from our own half and within the attacking 20. The young players were at the centre of it all which augers well for the future. The frustrating thing is our defense, our shape in defense is passable, however the physicality is not there, we have players in every tackle, however we are not putting them on their backs and we are not wrapping up the ball, all of souths tries were ugly, broken play, passes going to ground, hail mary offloads etc...all whilst we had players trying to effect tackles, its a simple thing to diagnose and find a solution for however it takes a lot of work to get the tackle (wrestle) technique correct. The super frustrating thing is that it has been an obvious issue for a number of years now and is yet to be addressed, so many examples of 3 tigers in a tackle and the ball is not wrapped up.
We are also flat footed after first contact, so our players miss a tackle or run through the attack line and they just stop and watch the ball get passed or a player run sideways, there is no urgency to get back into a defensive line. Sezer, Bateman and AD are some of the worst culprits, however its a malady the whole team seems to have. This is where I wonder about Api's captaincy, hopefully Luai will not cop these types of efforts next year, he may miss a few tackles but you often see him nail the player (or at least try to) in a second effort.
