Thanks for the company friends. Think I’ll join Eddie for a spell and tune out of tigers talk until at least mid week. I knew the roosters/storm/sharks run was going to be tough, but this last month has really done a number on my mental health.

it’s going to be difficult for the pod boys after this debarkle. Don’t really know where this club goes from here??

My one word: cellar. Lucky there is no relegation in the NRL.

Yep, best to walk away at times and take a break. Bloody frustrating club.

AD summed it perfectly SHITHOUSE

Was their a mirror when he said it, I know that he wasn't on his own but that was a terrible effort.

Woeful performance. Our worst for the year well and truly.

Bula can hold his head high, Bateman was full of effort, Porter worked hard off the bench and Sam Fainu worked bloody hard but dropped off near the end, Staines was solid.

Rest of them should hang their heads in shame.

As much as I was becoming more and more annoyed and disappointed by the Tigers as the game went on I also developed even more disdain for Ronaldo Mulitano. Had way too much to say to our players at  moments through the game and celebrated himself too much as well.

Granted he did score 3 tries! But you can do that and still be able to accept a tackle and not blow up deluxe like noone is allowed to touch him.

  • On a more positive note I think Bula really made them work a bit harder than they expected for a few of their tries. Saved a few and forced some to be delayed to the next play. Showed good speed, ability to hold off a player and make them pass, then tackle the receiver. Good involvement in the backing for our try too.

Just watched the replay, we have gone backwards this year compared to last year, we are poorly coached imo. We  have enough old heads out there to lead the younger around but it's not happening. They're the one that are making schoolboy errors and are passengers. My one word is backwards.

My word: Relief.

After a couple of decent (by his standards) games by Adam Doueihi on his return, I really thought I was going to have to change my low opinion of him. But, no, Adam resorted to type last night and was awful ....dare I say, shithouse.

Phew!

And, no, he wasn't the only one.

I have struggled to come up with a one word response to this game. That is until my 8 year old grandson sent me a video message this morning dressed in his Sharks jumper asking me if I was going to be wearing my Tigers shirt today??? I had nothing to say except .... NO!

That's my one word - NO!

Can we do better than 17th in 2024? No

Can we win another game in 2024? No

Will Luai be excited about coming to the Tigers in 2025? No

Do we have any idea in attack or starch in defence? No and No

Will Benji survive as Head coach after 2024?  No?????
