lol
Later a Tigers player (was it Bula again?) cleans up a loose ball, is held and flat on his back but the Roosters player strips the ball out of his hands but its play on and Roosters ultimately score from it?
Yep, I was on my feet screaming about it. Sadly, we made a tackle and they scored the next play. If they'd scored in the same movement, it would have been checked upstairs and surely overturned.
The roosters basically shift the overton window with the way they play. They still cop plenty of penalties (almost deliberately), but they also get away with blue murder multiple times a game (particularly when playing a cellar dweller).
So AD cops a $750 fine and gets sent off for 10 mins for a questionable hip drop tackle and Api does not even get charged however is sin binned for 10 mins reducing us to 11 players for what the ref deemed a dangerous tackle. What is alarming is that most refs tend to give a bit of leeway to a team that has a player already off, however for the Tigers it seems to be the opposite, Api's tackle was a penalty at most (Even Robbo agreed) its not like we were commiting multiple infringements as the penalty count was 8 - 7 to the tigers so what is it? Did Benji run over Annesleys cat in the off season?
