Ill got in early with my word for the week for the pod......Character...
Same word as last week which makes me very happy. poor first half, no doubt partly because of the tough match last week, short turnaround etc....but this team didnt drop its bundle and never gave up. Couple of tired defensive lapses but generally our defence held together for the whole game. This team has some ticker and some character and we can have some hope, and pride in this team.
Was actually a pretty good quality match in that second half. Dolphins are a good team and we went with them.
Stef and Sezer great games...Papalii did some great things and a couple of defensive lapses. Bateman was really poor and DUMB. Surely we are past that sort of dumb play.
Im not a Sullivan fan but I have to say he had a crack in attack and definitely straightened our attack. Defensively he is brittle IMO. Latu on the other hand was a beast in defence. I was surprised. Latu didnt really get a chance to do much in attack but his defence was impressive. At this stage I think Latu will eventually replace Sullivan.

I didn’t notice him in the game. Not sure if he picked up an injury, I don’t think he was hooked
didn’t come back on after first stint. Didn’t look injured but we could have used his experience

Both Bateman and Fainu are likely out next week, Api should be ok. Benji also said we lost the "young bloke" too (strained hamstring), not sure who that is though.

Can definitely see the team building an attitude and a direction.
It went (propelled) towards our goal line so at worst it was a knock back. No way should the Dolphins end up having the ball.I knew he’d play some sort of role 🤷♂️Great game by Sutton to get the Dolphins home
The Api knock on was actually an attempted steal from the Dolphins, should have been play on. That’s if markers were on side in the first place. Two errors from the ref in the one play.
