I had the Tigers finishing above them based on their squad and they are killing it. To think that Bennett once wanted to coach us......sliding doors. I think he has a soft spot for us, Ive seen him standing at Leichhardt watching games he wasnt involved in. A spine of JMK, Katoa & Nikorima. I wouldnt have been excited about any of them last year in fact I remember the forum (or the other one) sighing in relief when JMK signed with Dolphins.

It's genuinely depressing watching the Dolphins be so competent with a bunch of replacement level players.

My good mate's company does the turf. Remember the last lot of floods during magic rd I think it was and the ground held up magnificently. Recently it's not 'holding'Gee the Suncorp turf looks very suspect. Divots everywhere.

Seems a big souths crowd too. If you live in Brisbane and follow an out of town team - you potentially can make it to 4 games (1 each against Bronx, phins and Titans and another at magic round) which is pretty good.

Most of my mates in our whatsapp group go for Tigers, Bulldogs or Knights- all perennials bottom 8 teams, so we've adopted the phins as our 2nd team and half joke about buying memberships.
Bennet has proved its in the coaching.
However I would say, he has the benefit of setting a culture for the club from scratch - and bought all the old guys from storm to do just that.
We seem to have a close enough is good enough culture- which we can only shake if we bring in a core group of leaders - which we are still missing

To be fair I think they are trying to rectify that. With Api, Papali’i and Bateman.
We do have the issue that everyone who has been in for a while has a poor mentality
