douhie is playing about as good as he can. He is dangerous when he runs straight and hard and he is defending quite well to his standard.
I don’t think I need to point out the obvious, so instead will highlight some positives:
- junior tupou looks great. Strong runs back have put us in the front foot for the set for others to capitalise on
- naden has been strong in defence. I’d love to see them kick in behind the line so he can use his pace.
- klemmers first stint was good. He must have come close to 30mins and worked tirelessly
- ice has run hard and created impact
- staines is looking active and wants to get involved, but his passing game is still rough (thinking of the ball he passed junior above his head when nothing was on).
- Api doing api things.
I’m so over this. It’s so obvious what the issue is and our coach has come out time and time again and said that’s not the issue. Either he has gone senile or he thinks everyone else is an idiot.

replace Brooks with Wakeham and we’d be a much better team today.
Wakeham was just as bad and can't defend like Brooks. We need to stop telegraphing long out balls and try for repeat sets until the edges open up. We are not patient.
One thing is for sure, Staines has more speed and nouse than Laurie. After todays earlier game Daine won't be back barring injury.
I'd like to see our big boys wind up and hit an Api pass near the posts. Bend the line to bring the D in then spin it.
If nothing is on I have no problems handing it over on the 10m then ambush them and start again.

at the ground they run a fair bit of traffic at Brooks. Brooks and Douihie playing ok today the defence from kicks has cost us 3 tries. Api is playing very well
If I was Sheens I'd re-sign Junior Tupou before the Roosters sign him to replace their wingers.
