I don't understand why we play so far away from the defensive line, we don't engage the defence at all.
We just look like we are in a training run where we are learning the play before trying it at speed. We never get to the playing at speed part

2mins until half time, eels 5th tackle, and AD gives away a stupid ruck penalty. With brooks and AD, it’s more than just a lack of skill. It’s a lack of footy smarts and game awareness. Luckily we didn’t concede points after it but they weren’t far off and if they did that would be the match.

The tragedy is that we are not a terrible team. You put a basically capable 7 into our team we probably win as many as we lose. The team cannot win with Brooks at 7. You can’t waste so much attacking ball and expect to win in the NRL
And why is Matamua 18 every week. Surely he could benefit from game time, even if just in reserve grade.
