how did Twal look on TV. He looked ineffective live. I think we need a change their, we need more than what he brings to the team.
He was safe in D and only made 1 run that got reasonable post contact metres. (What I can recall)how did Twal look on TV.
He 100% effective in D if they run straight at him, not to good reacting to a step or swerve, poor ol Alex 🤣
yep, we are putting together a Wests Tigers Podcast Forum Team as back-up...are you in?we need more than what he brings to the team.
DL hasn’t been the same since he broke his leg. I think it’s a confidence thing TBH. Seems somewhat reluctant and pensive ever since.@campo He played KOE standard. Dropped the high ball and was caught out at the ruck etc. I dont rate him as an NRL player. He plays above his weight but he just doesn't cut it. I don't know what is. Is it coaching?
Look at Charlie. He and DL are identical in physique but Charlie having played a little more first grade at the Panthers seems to have the NRL look where DL doesn't.
I like DL, and I hope he proves me wrong. We need someone.
@eastiemagpie At the game I hardly noticed him, very ineffective, lacks punch, tight defence… That’s Twal
I used that excuse when I went into bat for him upon his return but I think there's still a fair bit of development left in the kid. I would like him to be coached properly. Something tells me that Ivan could. (Ex back)Seems somewhat reluctant and pensive ever since.
Maybe we need an ex champ fullback to help him. Suggestions?
Only Brett Hodgson but he’s coaching with the Wallabies.I used that excuse when I went into bat for him upon his return but I think there's still a fair bit of development left in the kid. On TV I only noticed him when he block Moses on the kick. Which is a good sign in a way as it means they have stopped 2 hit ups from Twal every time we’re in the 20
Ive never seen a more dominant looking stat sheet for a team that lost. The only stats we didnt win......kicking.

Just shows that pure stats on their own are pretty meaningless. Context is king…Ive never seen a more dominant looking stat sheet for a team that lost. The only stats we didnt win......kicking.

On todays game I disagree Mike. IMO those stats completely sum up the game. We had Parra on a platter in that second half, they were gassed but of course we dont have the halves to capitalise on the metres the forwards are making. The kicking section of those stats sum up the difference in that game, particularly the "kicks diffused" stat. Those three first half tries from kicks killed us. Everything else I thought we had the better of them.
On those stats it looks like we won and easily, but we didn’t. The only stat that I am really interested in is the final score and we lost, again.Just shows that pure stats own their own are pretty meaningless. I watched the KOE game and the turf was being torn up. Hill and AD doing knees....I wonder if the grass had anything to do with it?
@tiger5150 that’s the problem. We have the shell of the car made of all the best and most reliable parts we are just missing the engine.
Parts required - game manager and a game breaker or X factor player.
