Not only did our attack click (yes Wakeham, that’s obvious) but him going off just let our defence click as well . We were attacked at the line for large portions of that last 15 mins and the defence slid together , moved as one and there was no panic .

Well I think Doueihi at fullback is a joke surely. Best thing to come out of yesterday was Nofa getting hooked! Sadly it’s taken this long to happen. @lestronge Sheens has got plenty of work to do maybe even Ken M might be back. He probably needs to stick with a halves combo until after the parramatta game e.g. Melbourne Brisbane parramatta and see how they go whether that be wakeham Brooks or wakeham Douihie.
Where does Laurie fit in when he comes back I am guessing maybe he doesn't and AD takes over at 1 until Bula is ready. Sheens may well look to bring Doueihi off the bench at some point who knows
@loganr21 like him or hate him not many options in 2023 other than wakeham douhie or wakeham Laurie and he won't do that. As for 2024 who knows what will happen.
As for AD I don't think he is a particularly good fullback he is a bit slow but he did play a good game for southsbinnthat semi at fullback. I would rather AD in the centres tbh
Thought Api also made some crucial errors in points in the game maybe trying too hard but some seem to overlook these errors

Would like to see Matamua in next week, not worried if he makes mistakes, ok I am, but the benefits might outweigh the risks. He’s been great combining with the halves in State Cup, they were sorely missed yesterday by the Magpies. With Wakeham & Brooks I think we’d look better in attack. Bringing him in also brings more enthusiasm and after the start to the season we’ve had it might not be such a bad move.
@jedi-tiger what Tim has to get now is some combinations out there. Get a team and play with it for 2 months, win lose or golden point. Seriously Ken should have a run in reggies until he shows he’s fit enough for firsts.

I still don't think we are that far off a win, a depleted storm we are a good chance. Brisbane we are buckets chance. Parramatta they are missing strike in second rownwithout them they are beatable.

So we had Laurie get dropped for Staines after 2 games,
Then Staines dropped for AD after 60mins,
And most on the forum have dropped AD already.
Finding a long term class 1 and 7 is a priority.

Api also said, JB was a good talker out there. This is why I’d play him at 13, IP and SB in the second row and AK at centre. Wings of JT and ST, CS at fullback. Halves pairing of AD and BW and LB on the bench and shopped around. With JS and RN on the bench for our captain.
Agree with you on this. No chance of any improvement while Brooks is still in the side.
