Scoreline flattered us. Just so many elementary issues with the way this team plays.
@loganr21 I keep saying it’s all about coaching or lack of it ! This is a very poorly coached side and I for one hope Sheens is gone end of season it’s going to be 2 x spoons for the old boy .. any wonder there is rumblings of him being pushed out this seasons end .

The team is so fragile mentally - the early disallowed try seemed to deflate them.
Edge defence was diabolical. Kapoa is not a winger. To’a, well the ceiling is high, but the floor is very low. Tupou needs a spell, that chase for the Gamble try was poor.
Forwards tried hard. Stefano’s second spell was good. Great to see Papalii get a bit of early ball.
Bula is phenomenal. And Api was great. Alas, we look unlikely to win another game. It’s truly disgraceful that this team could end up with fewer wins than the 2022 Tigers.

Good summary. Need to fix the outside backs in defence. Most of the trys out wide were not even complex, simply through the hands.
Too much dumb foootball, like REALLY dumb. Cant play the ball, halfback standing on a narrow blind on the last, flickpassing in panic and...and...and..
There is a base for a competitive team with this pack, and Bula but 2 to 7 are playing at Cup level.

We would have won at least another 4 games if Hastings was halfback. I'm not big on Mick Ennis but he just had a very real chat about us. Stressing the need for a new start in upper management. Then saying that surely there is a half out there who would see that we have the makings of a really good team, great forward pack etc. We need someone in the media to keep up that chatter
