For mine, that instragram video shows exactly the kind of bloke Hastings is. Knows the camera is still on him and then goes to do the "nice guy" act with Talau in front of the camera. Plenty of opportunity later in the sheds but you can see him work it out on camera in that video. Pure Hastings.

Complete incompetence today. We were bad but the other team were worse and we still couldn’t win. We had no game management, absolute zero. It seems as though they went out there to play a certain way with no regard for what was in front of them. Went wide when we should have gone down the middle, created overlaps but didn’t take them, under 8s stuff.
Some more thoughts: the forward packing is good enough, we make decent meters and can keep the opposition pegged down when we need to. That said, Stephano should be dropped to the bench, he has to earn the starting role and he hasn’t done that. Also Twal should be banned from carrying the ball in the attacking red zone, he doesn’t have the impact to skittle defenders and get a quick player the ball. Also we didn’t offload at all today which was overkill to last weeks drop ball. They were played 30 min with 12 men, offloads would have killed them.
the 1-7 are the key problem here. Naden is probably the only one in his position who is a guaranteed starter in a better squad. Brooks can’t organise or play any structure and that unfortunately is a big part of the job. Douhie I think you stick with given his physical attributes but he still lacks the ability to put his outside players away and defence is suspect. Laurie is too small for the modern game. Talau maybe as a project player within a strong squad but you wouldn’t sign him up long term. Noffa is a nothing player, I would love to never see him play tigers again.
