Oooh, this was a fun challenge. I’ve gone left field, knowing they won’t win the vote but wanted to ensure they get some points in recognition of solid efforts:
AD (game 101 was better than his milestone game. Made some beautiful reads in defence coming out of the line. Didn’t get lazy and worked hard to get back in the line. Then kicked us to victory with that beautiful sideline conversion followed up by the game winner into the wind. Would have loved to see his floating bomb at some point though)
Naden (looked dangerous running the ball, and made a solid defence with AD. Best of all, no stupid penalties. Also noticed before the game he was sitting with Galvin, I assume trying to keep him calm. Really buying into the leadership role in the club)
Sione Fainu (those last two hit ups had the sharks back-pedalling, drew the penalty and essentially won us the game)
As a side note, I noticed Galvin got 3 points in the dally m scoring. The media have a deadset boner for him. May got 5 (for very good reason) but the other 3 players to get points were sharks.
