Murphy has 4 of the first 5 wickets. A Michelle in his first test in India would be an incredible debut.

He’s been bowling really well. Hadn’t seen him before this match but definitely a prospect. I think he’ll get 5 but can he beat Krejza‘s 8/200 odd as best debut figures
Few Observations-
-Tour Warm up games are a waste of time, glad they had the sense to not play any.
-They do not have enough coaches/support staff and they do not have enough devices.
At one stage in one camera shot of dressing room my son counted 5 coaches hovering around 8 setup laptops. This is not enough of either.
-I hope the above mentioned laptops contain the algorithm that spat out the brilliant selections of Renshaw and Handscomb ahead of Travis Head.
-Yes Alex Carey after being bowled in the first innings playing the reverse sweep, at 5/64 in the second innings it is definitely still the shot of choice and thank you for showing us.

flicked it over at half time and they lost 3 wickets to ridiculous shots.
Australia lost 9 wickets quicker than the pre season game took to play.
Pat Cummins maybe a bowler but he is batting at 8,
being bowled first ball trying to slog sweep is not what we need our Captain to be doing.
Worst thing about this match is that Australia were in a position to win it. Good first innings, had India on the ropes and a lead of 80ish looked likely. Then they threw it away going sweep crazy.
Pathetic tour.
Likely they have been reading their own press all summer over here against opposition who barely put up a fight.
3rd test is looming. Wonder what low they can reach this time round?
I think they did the right thing getting rid of Justin Langer, but McDonald and the rest of management have been exposed as having zero plans or strategy for this series. They seem to be making it up as they go along and taking so many injured players on tour is evidence of complacency.
