Theres nothing done at speed either.

This fullback reminds me of the fullback from 3 years ago 🤣

First post for 2026…good to be back!

My hot takes from the first half:

• maka looks strong and dangerous. Luke L also has had some good returns. I’d start Skelton for the season still, but won’t take long for one of the other guys to get a run again in first grade.
• attard had a couple of clangers , but looks the most dangerous in the team. Exciting player
• I like jock maddens kicking game. Put them all in the corner, plus a couple of good short kicks as well. Bombs didnt go high, but well placed at least.
• tristan hope takes too many steps from dummy half. Just distribute!
• mason looks slower than last year.
• jury is still out for a few of the forwards other than fainu. Some lazy arm grabs out there for guys trying to impress. Then there are players like Charlie Murray and tony sukkar who try hard but lack punch.

We got better as that half went along. That try before halftime was good. Murray's offload to Hayward was great!

Makasini looks everything that we hoped he could be. 

Good comeback though I must say

Casey Badger rarely gives WT a call when she is in the Bunker. 

First time seeing Haywood, he looks great. Looks like a crafty and high footy IQ hooker.

Maddon's kicking game has been fantastic, especially the long kicks, so well placed.
