Deserved. They worked very hard for almost 80 minutes for that victory. Dominant performance from the forwards. Great defence on the tryline. Can't be said that AD is not good for us in the halves. Very pleasing to see Latu on the field and tackling strong. So proud!

An understrength and inexperienced team playing in NZ against an undefeated Warriors! Incredible effort.
- 15 minutes in I thought long night …but we just had to stay in the fight. That we did, and not only but hit the lead. Which leads me to my one word ‘Belief’ from players to coaches. I’m seeing a look from Marshall and Hodgson that we have this in control.
- Backing this performance up next week I’d love to see.

Madden gives the team a new dimension with a good general kicking game ..the decision to restrict AD not kicking (regardless of the hammy issue ) was a great move and should continue next week. Twal is one that surprises now flick passes , the young winger certainly has a future and contests bombs …at last the missing element of the teams general game.
