Looks like no Doueihi or Latu.

Halves of Madden and Luai I suppose?

Andrews looks like he has AD'S running game covered but also more inclined to pass as well. Didn't see much of a long kicking game in that highlights reel but he certainly looks good enough to earn a chance.

Javon to me isMarshall in a bigger body. If he did play then Jerome the ‘Batman/robin (well that’s true) Luai will have to man up again and play 7. He may want some overtime pay 🤷‍♂️😆🤣

The comparison with AD to Javon is mute one has all the attributes to be the 5/8 to the promised land the other has a very large fan club is a good NRL quality player that’s good for depth .. this will come apparent very quickly over the 12 months ahead . Javon has the goods in spades ! If Marshall wants a job after next season AD will need to find a new position…. Latu / Javon there’s the future and it’s there to have .

I adore AD but the ball stops moving when he has possession and lacks the vision to play in the halves. His limited passing blunts our attack inside the red zone.

We've scored 4 tries in 4 games for a total of 22 points.

I can see what you are saying but to counter that - how do you explain the fact that AD was leading the Dally M through 8 rounds?

I feel for the past 10 weeks, the team has clocked off. The level of motivation to try and give that extra effort was sapped around the time that Luai announced he was leaving & injuries started to mount.

I guess the long term halves plan is up for debate and plenty will have their say before now and next March.

On a different point I feel the only way to beat Canberra this week is to play a big pack of forwards and take them on up front. We always get monstered by Canberra

The changes I hope to see

- Saukuru at left centre in place of Hemasi who drops to the bench

- Sione shifted back to the bench middle rotation, with Roberts and Sukkar to share right edge back row.

- assuming that AD and Latu are both named and at least one is cleared, then there is no spot for Andrews. I would personally wait a few more weeks to debut Andrews as I think its most likely we get lapped by Canberra. It will damage his confidence the same way losses will have made Haywood probably second guess himself.

- my other hope for this week is that Taateo gets a chance to come on off the bench. We need 4 strong props in rotation and Twal to play at least the first 60 mins off the bench. This is why we won 5 of the first 7 games.

Well that backline looks new…Sukuaru must have nudes of Marshall I’m thinking. Or else Turuva does also. Herbert with a shoulder issue replaces To’a whose one an extended with Makasini with the same issue. You couldn’t write this stuff seriously.
My question is who scores a try?

Wouldn’t it be weird if our halves from last week line up in the centres 🤷‍♂️

2 & 3 never played together.

4 & 5 never played together.

6 & 7 never played together.

Drastic measures, stuff definitely hit the fan this week!

Douhie cleared to play.

I reckon Latu will get off too … but I reckon Doueihi and Luai will be our centres on Saturday
