@mike I agree, but unfortunately we'll probably see more of Nofo as Staines is out for 8-12 weeks with a small bowel perforation. Sounds like a really serious injury. This season is awful, can't wait for the offseason.
happy to give nofo a go cupboard is pretty empty since we let Ken M go.
Put to one side that Noffa has been lazy, runs across field, gets caught out in defense, looks for the cameras and his attitude sucks at training, when he's on his game he is one of our best attacking weapons.happy to give nofo a go cupboard is pretty empty since we let Ken M go.
We are draining our talent so Sheenias needs to get him firing. I still believe he has something to offer.
Despite our team woes, this weekend really just boils down to a match up between Cleary and brooks. Penriths squad isn’t that impressive outside of a couple of key positions. They are literally starting players we have shed, ie eisenhuth, peachey (in the centres!) and garner as an emergency. I believe our pack is better and backs are slightly outclassed with asu out. Turuva isn’t 100% though so he could put in a performance like turbo last week. If it wasn’t for the Cleary/brooks match up I’d give us a shot.

But they are a champion team with that cliched but real "next man up" mentality. They have built a fantastic structure and literally can plug people into a position and make it work. And the fact is Cleary is that good. Their halves and back three will kill us.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. On paper we have a superior pack and that may be the case on the field, but Cleary/Lui/Edwards are a huge advantage. We might match most of the other backs but those three are probably enough to make a huge difference.
He’s been average in KOE… I don’t think he has anything left to offer. He’s gone downhill quickly after his ridiculously large contact. He’s done IMO.Put to one side that Noffa has been lazy, runs across field, gets caught out in defense, looks for the cameras and his attitude sucks at training, when he's on his game he is one of our best attacking weapons.happy to give nofo a go cupboard is pretty empty since we let Ken M go.

@mike agree with your comment that he's done. Someone else also commented recently on the pod that 'wingers can get old very quickly" and I agree with that too.
Unfortunately we are getting low on like-for-like position replacements and at least this week the coaching staff has opted for experience. I'm not surprised.
We'll see 🤣He’s done IMO.
It's a great game for Noffa to come back and play back into form....not!
we need to go the knuckle against penrith
@barra attacking wise nofo can jag a try problem is he tends to let two tries in. Against penrith nofo is not a bad option to go with
I don’t rate luai at all. Switch him with brooks or wakeham and I reckon we still struggle. But cleary…a whole other level. If you can make eisenhuth and peachey look good you deserve the big bucks.
I did like the run around plays in the red zone last week - and there variations - it showed the coaches are trying something and recognising the team deficiencies.
However, I reckon I saw Brooks drop Twal on the inside for a slow run in our red zone at least 5 times - its q huge waste of a tackle when we need to be attacking.
I really want to see the coaches working hard to unlock Brooksys game in our red zone.
