Also puzzled to see Staines get moved out of #1 straight away (again), after having a pretty decent game last Monday. Especially given Bula hasn't played in about a month, and is only a few games into his development at #1 at NSW Cup level anyway. Would have thought it made more sense to bring him in slowly via the wing, keeping Staines at #1. Anyway, hope he kills it.
If Matamua isn't playing FG, want him playing big mins in NSW Cup. Though if we're throwing Bula in straight away, we may as well do the same with Matamua - give him a run at #13. He's the best ball playing forward at the club by a distance.
I agree. Need to use Pole as a prop and just tell him to run hard and straight and use that late footwork of his. Don't like him at 13 where he has to ball play or look to ball play. That's not his go. Joe O or Justin M should be taking on that role or even Batemen when he moves to the middle.
Surely Bula gets moved to the wing? Talk about throwing someone in the deep end. Regardless of what position, excited to see how he goes. Good luck young fella!
