I look forward to seeing what this Reilly can do at 5/8. It was difficult to get a gauge on his abilities last year playing centres for the Magpies. The rot affecting the NRL side had perpetrated the whole club with the Magpies just as disappointing. It would have been a challenge for him switching codes and joining a struggling side mid-season. But with that experience and a full preseason we should start get a clearer picture of what he’s capable of.

I’m also keen to see him play.

I hope Tumeth has a good game. The news that Kautoga is trying to force his way out leaves me concerned we might have backed the wrong horse.

Tumeth playing well cures that.

Does anyone know about Jimmy Ngutlik knee injury?
