I was worried Talau was going to be named at 6.

Got excited seeing Talau not in the centres and then saw him on bench. Considering everything I’m not surprised by the not.

I’m concerned about the timing of bringing Da Silva in but we don’t have much choice

Excited to see TDS - But don't think it's a great set up to bring him into for a debut

Whats Matamua doing wrong - would prefer him to get a run on the bench over Seyfarth or Talau. Would of been happy to see James on the bench also.

Don't like Bateman at 13 prefer him in 2nd row.

Missing Joffa.

Would be happy to experent with rua at 13 - like a cotter, cheese type.

Hopefully Blore has a better game

Wakeham/Toa halves is a indictment on the admin that we are left in this position.

Top 8 2023

Yeah who would have picked these halves in March …has Matamua played this year?? It seems crazy with Talua there, but as was Kapaoa. Seyfarth has been in and out of 17. It’s ‘Bizarro world’ this place being Concord. 80 minutes of ups and downs, ebbs and flows ahead. Look forward to it 🙄

Was disappointed with Blore last week. This is an opportunity for him to step up and really show us what he offers.

He really has to be given at least a month there to show his worth. Let’s not get injured again Shawn!!

I think that’s all he has to offer. I don’t think there’s much there.

Bateman heading towards burn out, he played 80 last week in the middle, and looks set for another 80, particularly with Talau named on the bench.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think we will win this weekend. Outside of Hughes and Nelson, the storm team look garbage. If olam starts I may change my tip but this is the type of game I could see us springing an upset (just like last week was a perfect week for us to flop as favourites).
