need latu fainu in the field he has some attack and can defend. Offers more spark than TDS as a 14.

Round 1 however TDS probably gets the 9

One word: structure. We are still playing without an attacking structure and it is getting very very concerning

My negative one word - shape.

Opposing teams with it strip us easily on the edges. We don’t have it and struggle in the red zone. Maybe Luai will fix it.

30 - 18 A great win to the Tigers. AD 5 from 5 with the boot. Not sure Hunt played much more than about 12 mins. May was great. Bird played well. Skelton put on the tackle of the match and some great runs. Latu had some good moments too.

My one word is "Building". Combinations are building, hope is building, confidence is building, but the anticipation of seeing the top 17 on the field is building the most.

Well done Tigers!!!!

Eye test:

standouts

Skelton. Really great addition, did all the things he did last week

May. Big minutes and real inpact

Hunt. Massive human, a real point of difference

Douhie. Have to give him credit, he competed in everything and first grader somewhere

special mentions

Kit. Keeps on doing the hard runs. it will be great if he can be the Pole of the NSW cup team.

Fainu. Thought he injected himself a bit more this game

pole. A similar game to how he played last year.

concerns

TDS. Outplayed again by the backup 9

Sam Fainu. Something wrong with him tonight, well off the pace

Staines. No impact

Seyfarth. Hardly seen on the edge

P

One word: better

Last week was really scratchy. Tonight was just pretty scratchy.

Plenty of good things though, 30 points and left a fair few out there. Plenty to be worked on all the same.

Real shame about Naden.

One word...recruits.....all did a great job, bird was solid in defence and ran smart lines in the attacking 10, should have had 2 tries. May was huge and skelton will only get better. Naden should get a special mention, was doing a great job before he got injured.

My 1 word. Exciting. exactly what I wanted to see from the second trial.

Good signs in attack and defence.

standouts all over the park and we have way more options on the field in attack than we’ve had for many a year.

Seyfarth none existent tonight

Sam fainu looked quiet too

TDS again pretty ordinary in both trials

Latu Fainu has a touch of class

Galvin brilliant

Terrell May - what a half of football up front

AD good goal kicking and probably gets a centre spot
