Im impressed that TDS is chosen as captain of the Squad that contains Forward Veteran David Klemmer
I’m surprised that Klemmer is playing to be honest. But I suppose it was going to be he or Twal.
I reckon one of the best things to happen to Tallyn for a while is Jared Haywood. Tal knows there’s a kid coming through who is a very promising nine and that should make for healthy competition once Api retires or plays less minutes. Tal’s game should go to another level this year & that’s a scary thought.About what I was expecting for trial 1

there was some evidence last year that the coaches preferred twal over klemmer. Either could play a role in the top 17 but not both. Twal is younger and cheaper and klemmer has a player option that is quite valuable

What I think you’ll find from this trial is a Dogs team who will work extremely hard in defence, Ciraldo’s Penrith mark 2 vision. So it’ll be a good test of our spine to work with the rest of the team to overcome that especially 1st half. I’d like to see a good kicking game & so go forward from out of yardage and patience. Oh, and defence to match the Dogs. Tipping Feledy to do well here, just a hunch.
I have a big rap on TimJo but prefer off the bench when opposition a little tired.
