His value is that he makes everyone around him better players. One word-Luai.
His leadership is exactly what this footy team and club needed.
Best part is his footy went to another level last night, I thought he was excellent.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
He is such a smart footy player. He completely dominated that 1st half with the way he lead the team around and our players are starting to see his vision. His value is that he makes everyone around him better players. One word-Luai.

Last week, he was the only one who chased through when AD kicked the winning penalty, other players watched. He simply doesn't give up on any play, defence included.
Luai's leadership off the field is huge also.
I'm by no means saying he is perfect.@rach09 He has to learn to count … second time in a few weeks penalised for a late drop out last night led to 6 points IMO not good enough!
But looking beyond the mistakes he has made, you can not deny his leadership attributes. We signed him for a number of reasons and last night, particularly in that 1st half, it showed why.
He just knows how to win and lead. He, among others are changing club culture.
Didn't know quite where to mention this Magic Round stat but all 4 Queensland teams were beaten this weekend. Or should I say all 5 with the blues winning the nrlw SOO game as well.
Thought it was worth a mention. 😉
you can add Melb to that as a mostly QLD team.Didn't know quite where to mention this Magic Round stat but all 4 Queensland teams were beaten this weekend. Or should I say all 5 with the blues winning the nrlw SOO game as well.
