One word - relief. Couldn't sit down for the last 15 minutes. Great win.
One word: experience. We have been long term losers. We’ve lost from infront, lost from behind, lost in tough games and lost be 50+. What has happened in the past 18months is we have recruited enough experience from outside the club and promoted successful youth now that we have forgotten that we should be losing these games. A real sea change is happening. Api, Luai, Turuva, Bird, Hunt. Experience.
One word: Satisfaction. The win was very satisfying. It shows as a team we have what it takes to win in different styles. Last week was a walk over, tonight was a grind.
Another one word: Clawed. We brought out the claws and clawed back a win.
PS. By the way bring back the claws on the logo, how aligned with our culture would that be now.
Keep those One Word submissions coming in people. Looking forward to another post-victory edition of the pod!

seasoned
we have seasoned performers this year all playing together Luai, Api, Bird, turuva
the last 14 years we lose that game
And we kept them scoreless in the 2nd half….
Currently on a cruise at Fiji and only caught a few score updates. Being behind at half time and then finding out we gutsed out a win left me very surprised but even more PROUD 👏. That's my one word, Proud! Can't wait to chase up a replay.
Just looked at the live ladder ..... Wests Tigers currently 2nd. This may be momentary but gee it looks good. 👌
My 2 words are Turning point , i pegged this game as the indicator of where our season would go. The last 5 years we lose this type of game, i didn't even think we needed to win, just make sure it's close and we compete and I would be satisfied we turned the corner...the win from behind was a bonus.
Great game tonight, really happy with that win.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
One word: different
It's only one game, but that is a huge sign that we really are a different team this year. As others have said, I reckon we lose that 9 out of 10 times over the last decade. We were well off our game at times, but continually hung in there and kept it close, finally taking the chances at the back end.
I thought Galvin really battled with his decision making for most of the game, but came up with some big plays in the second half to help us get the win.
An incredibly satisfying evening.
Wow,and I agree with Garry, that was a watershed moment for our season.A beautiful result, laying foundations for further improvement and confidence building.
If I have to find a single word I find that too difficult, but if compelled I’ll reduce it to a couple.Composure and resilience.
I’m absolutely thrilled for Benji, because I believe as a coach it’s clear he’s created a united front where we’re seeing different entities across the playing group meaningfully contribute.Well done Coach and staff.
My one word is grit.
We did what we had to to stay in the game, forced mistakes from the Dolphins at crucial times, and finished well when the opportunities arose.
There are still too many penalties conceded (although, once again I think we were reffed differently than our opponents), and if we lose both Skelton & Turuva next week we'll feel it, but so much to be positive about.
We've got these two victories without our halves playing anywhere near their top level also, so just imagine what's to come if they start clicking & firing?
Gritty is my one word.
Not a pretty win but we would have lost that previously.
