One word - respect. Need to respect the opposition. They thought they’d just need to get on the plane to get the win.

Well there’s reasons for the appalling collapses this team has obtained over the years. It is a trend that will never never change with the squad we have.
I’m out of here guys, good luck with supporting this bipolar team.
Dolphins here I come

its not an airport Teddy, no need to announce departures. Goodbye.

Our depth is still terrible. Need to push these fringe players further down the pecking order, and really out of the top 30, with more astute signings.

@mike This is where the issues are the forward pack it’s pathetic..No more excuses for these plodders there are 2 NRL quality forwards the rest are want to  be’s . Pole is the best example he is a reserve grader the team is not progressing with him any where near this team and the rest of the merry plodder brigade .. honestly!

One word Realisation the realisation this team is very bog average . I listen to all the pods the constant excuses many players receive is comical a very large portion of this squad need to be punted yesterday! Without at least  4 NRL quality forwards It’s a mid season finish at best next year. A side note can Marshall find a true leader to take the captaincy as the 2 there have no on field leadership at all !!!

Totally agree. The sooner WT become an AFZ (Alex Free Zone) the better. Twal, at his best, is a shadow of the current Jake Turbo and I don't get the love for him. He is a classic plodder.

Seyfarth is slightly more talented but has cost the Tigers far too many points and opportunities over his career. I'd rate him 60% liability, 40% asset.

Both need to be punted if WT are going to taken seriously. Twal doesn't have the talent to change and Seyfarth's footy IQ is slightly above zero.

But I don't buy into the whole Titans defeat " killing momentum going into the off-season" stuff. It sure as hell has screwed my momentum. But the players will already be over it (they're used to it) and getting ready for Mad Monday, I suspect. Basking in that warm glow of not being wooden-spooners.

WT need more than momentum. They need quality players in the right positions and a coaching staff that can develop them, use their talents strategically to counter an opposition, and on-field leaders who can see when things need to change in a match and lead that response.

And, just as with the game V Cowboys at LO a few weeks back, yesterday's game needed Api and Luai to stand up and take coordinated control in that 2nd half. Sadly, they failed. Again. Those venting their anger and vitriol on someone like Mason are just scapegoating the real offenders, IMO.

 @One word “captains knock”.

In cricket they use that term when a captain steps up and takes the game by the horns and gives the team exactly what it needs to get the job done. Whether it be a flashy 100 or a grinding 50 they just know what to do.
We needed that from Luai last night and got duck eggs. I’m a fan of his but needs to improve in a lot of areas to be the best.
Everyone knows how bad it was so I’d just like to say great game Latu, really stepped up. And Roycey, best game in our jersey.

A quick edit, been reading plenty of hate for Seyfarth online. He made quite a few crucial tackles and thought he went ok. Lost the ball at a critical time which quickly resulted in two tries.
I don’t think he deserves that hate though, last night wasn’t his fault imo.

And we move on to next year 🤦‍♂️

I'm disappointed with the loss yesterday but I really think a good. long kicking game could've helped wrestle back momentum that 2nd half. I think that's where we missed AD. We just couldn't get any field position and were pretty much rucking it out of our half for the majority of the 2nd half. We also lack a bit of footy IQ and I also think AD helps in that regard. But I did like Latu's game and he will only get better. Hopefully both will be in the 17 next year as they both provide things we need.

I think now is a time for stability as we've had so much change the last 2-3 years in particular. I think only 19 players from the 37 used last year played this year. We have a young coach who will be better next year and we will have stability in the spine for the first time in a long time. I think if we could pick up Chan Kun Tong and a good, experienced middle we'll be ok. Tui Kamikamica would be the guy I'd be looking at. A starting pack of Terrell, Api, Kamikamica, Samuela, KPP and Twal is pretty handy I think, plenty of size there too with a terrific blend of youth and experience. Sign Taylan and the backs are fine.
