@joel Halfback is a major weakness the club needs a specialist 7 Madden fits that role not a world beater but would be reliable .. I still think Latu is the 13 were looking for !

Correct. You need that level-headed general in games like today.

@joel This team needs forwards that can hurt defensively and can do damage with the ball .. tired of seeing our forwards running with cement boots and half arsed tackle technique! Until this happens the team is mid table .

Worse thing is we are now GOING to lose 3 in a row to finish the year. Can we still finish 16th ??

It could be a costly 15 minutes 🙁

I know we lost 2 halfbacks today … but seriously we need a controlling no7.
Jock I’m looking at you brother

He’s not coming to play NSW Cup.

I think Doueihi and Latu probably fill gaps as required/utility type roles and Madden and Luai are the starting halves.

tbh Luai annoys me though with his jinking, discombobulating runs. Something I hope he gets rid of next season. It adds DIDDLY‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

One word... Positive. Remain positive. This loss, whilst it was incredibly disappointing and deflating, the trend of growth and improvement was still there. No need to doom and gloom.

Also... Whilst it is extremely unlikely... technically and mathematically, we still a chance to make the 8.

I know I have submitted my world already but I want to agree with those who have previously said deflating. It is now 5 hours post match and I find myself wondering how we lost that game. It meant so much. It was at home. The fans had come in force. The 3 in a row curse was there to be broken. It was JL's 150th. We still had a slim chance of finals football. I am lost for words and understanding and gutted for the team as well because I really think they tried so hard, even to the last set when one more player backing up would have sent it to Golden Point.

Shout out to AD. Hope you are doing OK.
