Worse thing is we are now GOING to lose 3 in a row to finish the year. Can we still finish 16th ??

It could be a costly 15 minutes 🙁

One word: Woeful - Particularly the right edge defence. Leaked at least 5 trys down the right edge. That needs to be fixed before next season.

Richo Meter: Poor. No excuses for giving away the lead like they did. Mostly due to the poor right edge defence. Defence needs to be a lot better before the team can go up the Richo Meter.

Jordan’s elusive 3 in a row will have to wait until next year.

Devastated……

One minute I’m on top of the world,  next minute and it’s like my dog has died.

Just substitute “dog” with “mother” and I couldn’t have said it better myself.

One word: Rollercoaster 🎢

Too many peaks and troughs in the game mirroring our season. Overall a very successful 2025 campaign considering the Galvin drama mid year.

Not cellar dwellers anymore

One word: pain

Only the tigers could lift us up so much, only to drive a dagger into our collective hearts

@mike This has been happening all season .. that was all any team had to do go to the right edge , every game has been the same .. why was this not identified by the coaching staff . Again I go back to Roster !

My one word goes against the grain here but its............positive.

For about 60minutes that was the best football we have played in maybe 10-15 years. Solid structure in defence and good structured attack.

Now Im really going to upset people here and I hate to say this of him whilst he is not well, but I really wish Benji and others would realise that Adam Doueihi is not and never will be a good halfback. He was poor today before he got injured. His defence was very poor and he had two ineffectual tackles that led to the first two tries. In attack he made some decent runs but on more than one occasion should have passed and didnt and butchered opportunities. He just ISNT a halfback. I agree with everyone that he has had great games over the last month, but none of his good play was halfback play and more resembled a lock than a halfback and by playing him at 7 Benji has deprived us of Latu and of course deprived Latu of the opportunity.

When AD got hurt and Latu came on, that right side defence was instantly stiffened and our attack looked crisper immediately with Latu & Luai combining frequently that just doesnt happen with AD. AD simply plays as a runner on the right side. We looked a much more dangerous side with Latu at 7 and our right side defence was much safer.

Our right side defence is correctly copping it because they ran so much traffic down there and it resulted in most of their tries. As I said previously, AD missed two tackles that he should have made by arm grabbing resultin gin two tries. It was much better with Latu there and Latu nearly stopped one try on the right side and got knocked out doing it. The last try our right side was a mess with Benji having to chop and change all over the place.

Im as disappointed as everyone at losing a game that we should ahve had locked up, but there is so much positive in todays game that I think we should look to the positive and look forward to better days ahead.

Special mention to the crowd today. That is the best atmosphere I have felt at a Tigers game in I think at least 15 years. Back to the good old days.

Good things are happening. This is the best team we have had for a VERY long time. Its coming together.

I know we lost 2 halfbacks today … but seriously we need a controlling no7.

Every team in the NRL (except two) has their right edge the weakest. Thats just football. Today our right side defence was leaky but there was 3 and sometimes 4 players playing on that side today that dont usually. Naden was filling in, AD shouldnt have been there and then got hurt, Latu got hurt, Samuela moved over to the right. Its ridiulous to say that this was not identified by coaching staff. What should they have done once AD got hurt? What should they have done once Latu got hurt? When Toa pulled out?

He’s not coming to play NSW Cup.

I think Doueihi and Latu probably fill gaps as required/utility type roles and Madden and Luai are the starting halves.

I agree. A fully fit To’a, KPP, Madden and potentially Makasini and today would likely have been a different outcome.

Not picking on him, but Latu’s inexperience was on display in that set after we took a 12 point lead. We needed to play smarter footy at that point.

He’s talented but needs more time.
