@joel definitely more talent in the team than they showed today. Either these guys aren’t up to performing week in week out or it’s just poor coaching. Probably both. They don’t look professional at all.
Bird is lucky to have an NRL contract at all, yet he starts in our side 🤷🏼♂️ That just shows we are way too low on cattle.
The performance gives me more worries than reasons to feel relief.
I want to see Bula back and Turuva back on wing.
I still think we are missing a halfback (a general) and a high impact prop (along with more potency in the backrow).
Very, very happy with Taylan though, a first grader through and through.

I completely agree. Apart from winning a game in the 80th minute against the bottom placed side (who were ever so slightly more inept and awful than we were), there is nothing positive at all to take out of that effort today.@joel definitely more talent in the team than they showed today. My one word is difficult
That was a difficult game to watch.
The boys and Benji made a game that should have been easier to win, difficult.
It is difficult to see any type of plan or structure to our attack.
It is difficult to see how Jack Bird gets another game.
It is difficult to see where the improvement is going to come from.
Confused. Don’t know what else to say after that, a wins a win but they look like they only just met each other.
One word “coaching”.
I’m up there with the biggest of Benji fans but today we showed that we aren’t a well coached side. We were bloody horrible at times. It looked like a side who had never played together before. we need to be way better then that.
And then there’s Luai. Sorry but he’s not captain material. Captains don’t give those penalties away for the same thing two weeks running when there’s no need. And the captains challenge 🤦♂️ Five players around him telling him to challenge and crickets.
It’s new for me but I’ve never been gutted after a win.
Luai hasn’t worked out that the things he used to get away with at the Panthers don’t wash with the refs when you are a Tigers player.
One word - stolen. Titans made a thousand mistakes and the ref gave us the rub of the green for a change. We were good on effort but hopeless on strategy and execution, so we stole that one.

Taylan was great. He’s a weapon with the ball and I hope Douihie saw what can happen when you pass to Skelton.
Staggering..how we won the game, no game plan, terrible coaching, no improvement and yet we have 7 wins..staggering that Marshall doesnt have more pressure on him
It’s true that we have not attacking structure. Partly that is because we have lost one of our starting halves who demanded to be the centre of attention and it’s partly because we have no attacking philosophy. Do we play with a dominant 7? Do we play a ball playing lock? Do we centre our attack off our 9? We have a new attempt to each week depending on who is in the team that day and the result of the previous weeks game. I’m giving Benji a pass because we have been competitive without a game plan and I put that down to his capacity as a man manager but things need to change for next season. If that means we need to bring in new assistants than so be it but we need to develop and identify and a gameplan that we can stick to week in week out despite the results. Neither of our halves are dominant 7s so I think our best bet is running with a ball playing lock who can straighten and push the halves further out. We need these halves to work on shape with their 2RFs and centres and let Api work on the ruck with his front rowers. We have the players, we just need the system now.
The post game pod might be a bit delayed this week - several members of the pod team who shall remain unnamed are apparently out on the town celebrating like it’s 2005!!
As painful as some of that game was to watch, I must admit feeling very jealous of those in the crowd today. The place looked like it was pumping after the field goal. Don’t blame them for hitting the town afterwards.
Lots of love in the comments for mays (for good reason), but I reckon turuva is also worth a shout. Thought his carries were strong and he looked busy getting us out of trouble.
Had to laugh. When api fell asleep at marker I turned to my wife and said that only our team is dumb enough to do something like that. Titans proved me wrong by giving away penalty right in front for a scrum time violation. Turned the momentum of the game. Tigeresque. My heart would go out to the fans but I don’t think they have any.
One word is, Mike.
Mike is a chicken that lived without a head for 18 Months. That is the Wests tigers under Benji... Headless f'ing chickens
