Ive been praying all week from my home in northern Brisbane that the cyclone would hold off long enough for me to enjoy the tigers first game. And with 2 hours until kick off I’m pretty confident the power and wifi are going to hold out.
Now I’ve just got work out which god was listening. Pretty sure it was my Wayne Pearce shrine I have in the shed.

My half time thoughts:
- I’ll continue to drive the point home - that seyfarth knock on was, well, vintage seyfarth. Could have cost us massively.
- on the flip side, twals offload set that try up. If we can only keep one Alex in the team, he is my vote
- loving the new recruits. Haven’t checked the stats but Skelton will end up with a 300 metres if he keeps this up
- knights have had us on the rope a few times. Can’t believe they haven’t hit best vs faatape more. If they switch up their game plan, it might get tight
8 - 0. Actually thought there would be a few more points in this game. Early point for the Tigers in the second half could be very important.
Well 5 up and kick basically the whole second half , Galvin killed all momentum in the red zone ( got pass it occasionally) this week the coach needs to sought this out . The usually suspects dropping off tackles . A game to be won but again no idea!
Where there centres playing tonight Turuva never got the ball once in the backline .. Need a couple of centres otherwise a long season !
Despite only two points down we struggled for any effort in that last 15 minutes. I think that is where we really missed Api's leadership and motivation.
