This week the guys they brought to the club to lead have to stand up and show the way. This is why we brought them here so let’s see them respond the way we hope they will.
@mac_tiger agree with you. He played right centre in the trials and missed a fair few tackles.
Our right edge in defence is a glaring weakness.

Im still very excited to see how we go with so many new players.
Unfortunately like last year our forwards will hold their own, but won’t dominate the opposition.
our backs will get run over, With 2 weak defensive centres up against two strong very good centres and a fullback that can create havoc
I hope I’m very wrong
Forwards need to have a huge game. Knight 3/4s will be licking their lips, we can’t let them have too much front foot ball.
And Ponga will be liking his chances too.
Need to target their halves so no quality ball to the outside backs. Should be easy to do as we are not looking at a top 8 halves combination.Forwards need to have a huge game. Knight 3/4s will be licking their lips, we can’t let them have too much front foot ball.
And Ponga will be liking his chances too.
@jedi-tiger I am not a fan of carrying two specialist 9’s ..Latu is a better choice as a utility IMO .
bird can pretty much cover centre, second row lock as a utility
my preference would be bird on bench and latu fainu to come on and play at a ball playing 13 type of role and make Api play 80 mins
