3. Jacko
2. Tamou
1. Lids
Killed them in kick metres, 98% completions (must be a WT record) and built pressure.
Have been at the last 2 games. Incredible to watch how dominant Hastings is on the field. He literally directs every play, tells every player where to be, touches the ball 4 out 6 plays each set. We are a completely different team with him.

NRL buy of the season. Love him
Great win. Defence is improving, looked more solid tonight.
A few things out of this game:
- We won
- Liddle played well and made a fantastic try saver.
- We have a genuine goal kicker
- We still have Steff and AD to come back
- Lastly, but probably most importantly, there are still lots of areas we can improve upon

Defence probably the biggest positive for me. I hope Laurie isn’t out for long because we look much better with him at the back, he covers a lot of meters in defence at 1.
Defence probably the biggest positive for me.
4 forwards with 100% tackle efficiency, none below 90%. 🤤
Who could imagine those stats would relate to a Tigers team.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
@tigerstu Watching Hastings interview after the game and his attitude on the field can anyone explain to me why he can not even be considered in a 5 captain rotation ..
This is the problem with Maguire he is Dumd as! in the people management area… Forget Douehi as team captain this turn around is all centred around Hastings on and off the field , his praise and support in his team mate’s especially Brooks is what real leadership is .
That interview last night totally highlighted what has been required for this team for a decade at last a REAL leader Oh wait the coach has not realised that yet .

He himself didn't want it..
Had a lot to prove to himself 1st..in coming back to the NRL
You don't Need a (C) to be a leader..
I'm sure that may change down the track..
All Brooks has ever needed was a first class partner .. 5/8 was always his gig he can now enjoy his footy without the pressures of running the team around . After what this club has put him though by leaving him out to dry and not supporting him with signing a recognised 7 years ago I really hope to see him shine in his new role and enjoying his footy that smile on his face was golden well done !

Sometimes adding a C can cause more headaches than needed .....I don't mind the situation the way it is barring having 5 captains ...cut it to 2 next year

And Talau and Kepaoa ...I don't know if Liddle and Simpkin are building a rivalry ....but if they keep improving at this rate ......Koroisau might be playing KOE in 2023 ...still want to see Liddle engage the line more often .....fair few times in attack we were barely reaching the ad line .....the passing game needed to be flatter

All benji needed was a first class halves partner as well. He didn’t do nearly as well without prince and lui.
