Missed Ken and Laurie big time. Would have scored a couple of more trys if either was playing.
We are really down on troops and it showed today.
Is it as simple as if we desperately missing decent centres and Laurie at fullback?

Hastings and Brooks especially created enough chances to win they were unable to capitalise..
The effort was there, created plenty of chances, but couldn’t finish. A game that got away.

Agree, our 1-5 were very poor
I was at the game. I didn’t think we were terrible. The refs did us absolutely no favours (dragons slowing down the ruck when we attacking in their half was ridiculous). Our forwards were fine and I thought our halves were also fine (Hastings a bit quiet). I think we really missed Laurie today. Our backline sweeps were back to being dead end runs and then we were left going for the cross field bombs and we weren’t really in a position of advantage given the opposing outside backs were quite good. A missed opportunity for sure. On the bright side I though AJ look strong with the ball and made some good defensive reads. I would like to see him move into the centres sooner rather than later. Saw Ken with a limp and a big strap on his leg so not sure how long he will be gone for

We just didn't test the Dragons ...had enough quality ball in attacking positions to win 2 games
Dragoons goal line defence has been excellent for the past two weeks Rorters struggled to score for long periods in their 20m zone with all their class at disposal..
I know it’s hard to admit but sometimes the other team does good stuff too…
We were outplayed. Dragons were very good defensively and read our plays well. Our plays did look slow and somewhat predictable. Dragons sat back and took their few opportunities. Our effort was great, just need to work on the finesse.
