@voice_of_reason I laughed at your response about that incompetent referee!!! If I were JT I would said more. Not saying we weren’t poor But seriously Ben Cummins should have given up the whistle a few years back. He makes Henry Peranara look good!!!!

We were indeed but Cummins is a twat.

He needed to be shouting at his team-mates - they deserved the abuse.

Yeah but so does that incompetent referee!!FFS

AD had a terrible night and was terrible last week as well. That doesn’t make Brooks any less useless as he has shown this consistently for 10 years bar one season which has taken on mythical status.

AD may not be the answer at 5/8th but Luke Brooks certainly isn’t.

Did Luke Brooks play tonight?

how come every time someone criticises AD someone references Luke Brooks?

I was there. Doueihi tonight goes way beyond a “bad game”. Mosesesque.

there is an actual problem and it’s a big one. AD will never captain this club

Brooks was only brought up because Jedi is obsessed with him for some reason.

in saying that I don’t want to see AD play for us again. That was disgusting.

I’m out for the season, possibly more. This team sucks and I couldn’t care less anymore.

I like Nu Brown and think he should definitely be in the top 30 for next year. Solid player that can cover our 6, 7 or 9 at a pinch. However, I would not be playing him 80minutes like last night. Surely Jake Simpkin gets added to the bench for the last two games.

AJ first centre picked for 2023. The kid deserves it.

I read on Twitter Fonua Pole is not in the top 30 for next year?? Surely a few announcements coming soon.. Pole and Hastings.. Please!

My word for the game is.. Daylight

List me all the poor decisions he made last night which were incompetent or cost us the game?

I’ve no doubt some players are distracted by contract talk/negotiations etc & I realise to not be totally as focused as you need to be, for any athlete, raises the possibility of a poor performance. That could be a reason for some of the things that went on last night but nobody can say for sure. One thing I do know is there was about $4 million of our salary cap unavailable (from the squad at season’s beginning). We were tipped at the beginning of the season to finish near last or last by some. Played a team yesterday with elite players & who could also win the premiership without much surprise. We got a few injuries & that threw everything out of whack as well. The Roosters were also celebrating a farewell to the SCG so the possibility of a blowout was high. It could’ve been better but there are reasons for what happened.
I hope we get to go on a roll against them one day but they’re looking like they’ll be a dominant club for a while yet.

Brown had no runs all game, very poor game plan from the coach

Well the knock on at dummy half was the bell ringer for me. He wanted those rorters to get to 70!
Thing is he’s been incompetent for a long time now, and we got him two weeks in a row.

In regards to Jimmy Tamou I think what happened was, more than likely, caused by a build up of emotion. I thought last week prior to the Sharks game he shouldn’t have played as I feel certain that Paul Green’s death would’ve affected him. He seems the kind of guy who wouldn’t want to let others down & I feel he probably said he’d be okay to play. A lot of the players look up to him & it’s a big responsibility, a weight getting heavier with each loss. I feel it all got a bit too much for him last night. Hopefully he’ll be ok.

I don't recall this but it appears your evidence of referee incompetence is a knock on when we're 60 behind, with moments to go, which we could have challenged...

@jedi-tiger Douehis defence was terrible last night and last week too,  no argument from me on that score.
