I must say that was a good call on Kelma earlier today, I didn't agree then but do now.

Not really, think we’ll get a few back from injury and the usual revert back to a different 9. Jacob’s usually plays well coming back from a let up

That would be nice. If we could get Toa back at centre too it would be a step forward.

I can watch games like that and it doesn't wreck my weekend, being Sunday night helps 😂I'm an old Tiger 63 years old, if they have a go I'm happy, to the podcast crew no I don't except mediocrity, I find you very negative

I follow the sport for enjoyment

I'm happy if I can go into each game with hope we can win it, and watch the boys put in, have a go.

Mate get what you’re saying but really is putting in each game now the new accepted standard. When you haven’t made finals in 11 seasons when there’s a 1 in 2 chance of making finals when you have been sliding further down the ladder over that time it’s no longer acceptable to me

While we are not being rewarded with wins I can see improvement in attitude, they are playing for each other and  the coach. Is that good enough No No No as Gus would say but it is better than where we have been.
Can Madge deliver the results with this many injuries No.

The two tries before halftime were disappointing. One try I could have copped, but the second virtually sealed our fate. 14-12 halftime it’s a different ballgame. Even without Brooks.

It is not about effort being acceptable, it is process and from where we were last year part of that progress is having a side that puts in each week. I know think we have achieved that and the next step is to get more consistent in the execution. Im hoping that improves as players return m

Yes and as a tigers supporter  I have lived in the land of hope for the last 11 years but even that hope is starting disappear

Tough effoet from the boys tonight.

We were behind the 8ball from the start with injuries having to play the 2 juniors.

Then to lose simpkon and Brooks - we did very well to keep competing.

All this is building the team experience. Once we get our AD, Laurie back, the boys will go up 2 gears.

A fair appraisal I think, and without all the gloom and doom.Good to see someone maintaining an air of optimism. We’ve been absolutely poleaxed by injury and never threw the towel in last nightThis team has improved markedly and is hanging in there through adversity.Thankyou Frullens!

Thanks @tiger-symmetry

Have a listen to Bloke in a Bar podcast today, skip to the 3:29 mark - Declan Kemp is absolutely loving what we are doing at the moment - he sees we've turned a corner.

It's good to get an external view - as Tigers fans, our view can get a little emotional as we are all desperate for finals.

But just wait to we get our full squad on the field, we are a much better team than the last few years

Effort was there but simple errors are killing the effort and confidence of the team. This missed tackle (I think it was Kelma) on the prop that led to a try was way too lazy. We need to be more tuned in and play smarter.
