It’s been a big couple of days in Concord with the Wests Tigers again active in the NRL play market.
The big cleanout of the 2022 wooden spoon-winning side has continued with the departure of Jackson Hastings.
Hastings has inked a deal with the Knights to play halfback, in return, Wests Tigers get representative forward, David Klemmer.
On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto, Steve Stretton, Declan McCutcheon, and Garry Watson dissect that player swap.
Some of the questions that the boys try to answer include:
- Who got the better of the deal?
- What does the move mean for our halves in 2023?
- Does losing Hastings put more pressure on Brooks and Doueihi?
- What will big Klem bring to our forward pack?
There’s also some discussion around the interesting words used by Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe in the press release confirming Jackson’s departure from the club.
And the boys discuss other potential future roster moves including the future of Adam Doueihi and rumored signing John Bateman.
Who said the off-season is boring? It’s another big edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast that we hope you enjoy. And don’t forget to join the discussion on the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum!
