We’re literally just days away from the Wests Tigers taking the field for the first time in 2022.
But before a ball is kicked there’s a big Wests Tigers issue that has fans talking – where the team should call home.
It’s a long-running discussion, true, however, things seemed to shift last week when the Sydney Morning Herald published a story that seemed to have the inside word on what the club is thinking.
The report says after the 2023 season the Wests Tigers will go back in time and split home games between the club’s two traditional grounds – Leichhardt and Campbelltown.
That means no more wondering gypsies existence and the club moving away from CommBank Stadium (Parramatta Stadium) and the Olympic Stadium in Homebush.
Is this a good move? Is this the direction the club should be taking? We thought we would get together and produce an edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast to discuss the developments.
We hope you enjoy it. Don’t forget, you can also have your say on the Wests Tigers home grounds issue on the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.
