Team still putting in but completely out classed today.

My positive is Hastings is back next week - hoping for a chance to mix up the spine. Brooks to 6 or 14. Hastings to 7 to run the team

Top 8 2023

Maguire has come out with the best joke in a long long long time. Saying at the press conference that we haven’t gone backwards I think he actually believes that

The only consideration for Ken M is he's injured. He was poor today and his efforts to get the ball on a couple of occasions was sadly lacking.

Nofo made a couple of mistakes but thought he was solid when he moved to fullback.

Agree Kenny wasn't great today

But the team as a whole kept their heads up

I'm a realist - Cronulla are a better team and deserved (and were expected) to win. They were faster, had better line speed and played tougher.

I'd be moving Brooks and Liddle on now- and swapping with 2 high impact forwards.

We desperately need forwards with punch

Liddle and Brooks arent in our top 17 next year - let's swap them now while they still have some value

@frullens problem is no guarantee Douhie comes back from injury like he was last year though. We need all three Brooks Hastings and Douhie. That leaves Madden as the odd man out

Change for the sake of change is just that. Sacking a coach, CEO (or playmaker) is a MAJOR decision for a club and shouldn't be done under the emotion of a losing streak. What needs to be asked of ANY change is what will it do for the club?

What does sacking Madge do for our team in the next 3 months?

What does sacking Brooks do for our team in the next 3 months? Keeping in mind he can be dropped.

What does sacking Pascoe do for our team in the next 3 months?

And who do you replace them with?  We need to be calculating and intelligent - not emotional - or we'll make poor decisions.

Pascoe is far too lightweight to be an effective CEO. We need a strong CEO that understands rugby league. A strong CEO wouldn’t have signed off on $1m for Brooks and a 4 year extension for Nofo.
