How many round 1 positions can you 100% confidently predict across the 17?

For someone that lives in Queensland, I would like to know which younger players/ hidden gem. People think that can make there NRL debut next year.

For the next episode I’d like to get some updates/comments on how training is going especially with new assistant coaches and who is excelling.

injury updates and rehab info

Also how is the COE going? Nearly finished? Last I heard it was February

Anyway keep up the good work guys

We have reached out to the club and will be discussing these questions.

@garry exciting to hear you’re recording a pod!

ive been taking a break from footy stuff, but keen to listen and catch up where we are at.

i notice we’ve signed the full 30 spots, keen to hear your views on that approach as opposed to leaving a spot free for bigger name player later in the year.

I like it as we can use the preseason to have all the players buy in and gel and establish combinations. Also removes the signing speculation/circus which we don’t need.

having signed step big names for next year helps

Would love to have more of a deep dive into some of the lesser known players. Not sure how easy it is but mayby an interview with Junior Tupous old coach and some info on how he is settling in kind of thing

Also mayby a stats/ data section - NRL economist type

That's would be great!

Not having a go at Eddie or the guys but I was listening to the pod today and thought it was funny how Eddie didn't know who William Kei was and he's in our top 30!

As I said I'm not having a go at Eddie, because I think most WT fans wouldn't know who he was.

But it would be cool if we could learn more about these players through the pod.

After all there's only 30 players. My kids classroom has 30 kids and you expect the teacher to know everyone.

Also, as we've said, if we are going to be successful it is going to have to come from within. So it's important we watch the rise of these younger fellas because we need 5 or 6 of them to knock down the door and demand a place in the team - just like The Ute did last year.

We have a pretty good group of young players to keep track of:

In the fowards

- Blore

- Tuilagi

- Seyfarth

- Simpkin

-Simpkins

- O'Kane (didn't even know he was in top 30)

- Tumeth (didn't even know he was in top 30)

- Saukuru (didn't even know he was in top 30)

In the backs:

- Tupou

- AJ

- Kei

-.Toa

- Talau

- Madden

I'm hoping to see a lot more jnr football this year, was going to head to the Wests v Balmain games this weekend but my daughter has covid so am not in iso lol.

I think it is very surprising that Kei has been named in some predicted teams for 2022 as I don't really think he lived up to the expectations I had of him last season.
